The director of NAAS, Dougall Millar, has successfully owned, developed and operated irrigation and rain grown cropping properties in Central Queensland for 32 years. Dougall has an excellent understanding of the opportunities and constraints of agriculture in Northern Australia. He has over 30 years of farming experience with a passion for understanding the crop and the environment that it grows in. He offers a true farmer’s perspective of what is required and what is obtainable in developing farms and growing crops in Northern Australia.
Dougall Millar’s expertise in agribusiness and finance means that he is able to develop comprehensive financial packages for your business, investors and the banking sector. Dougall graduated from Marcus Oldham with an Advanced Diploma Agribusiness Administration (High Distinction) in 1996. He won both the Central Highlands Cotton Grower of the Year Award and Australian Cotton Grower Achiever Award in 1997. Over the last 20 years, Dougall has won numerous cotton and grain yield and quality awards in Central Queensland.
